Record-Breaking Support: A Big Summer
It was a record-breaking summer for The One By One Project. From June through August, we paid a staggering 91 bills, representing over $51,000 in direct support to local families in need. Bills we paid this summer averaged around $560, providing urgent financial assistance to neighbors throughout Greater Boston.

Spotlight: ONE Story from the Front Lines
Recently, one of our local non-profit partners reached out to us for support for a mother whose child was suddenly hospitalized. Faced with unexpected costs like takeout meals, hospital parking, and essential household needs, she quickly faced a financial crisis. Within 24 hours of receiving the request for support, we provided a $500 retail gift card, allowing mom to focus on her child’s recovery without the added stress of mounting expenses.
We provide this kind of immediate, no-hassle support every week, helping to prevent small crises from spiraling into larger ones.
