The One By One Project and Newton, MA-based New England Country Mart are working together to raise funds for The One By One Project. Each month New England Country Mart selects one local non-profit and one product for their Groceries that Give program. This February, NECM's Groceries That Give program will feature a "Will you Be My Valentine Gift Basket" to support The One by One Project.
Proceeds from the "Will you Be My Valentine Gift Basket" will benefit The One By One Project to help fund urgent (and often make-or-break) needs for families and individuals in the Greater Boston community. The One By One Project's funds pay bills to help avoid utility shut-offs, allow families to move to safer and more stable living accommodations, provide funds for transportation support to help individuals get to work, school, and medical appointments, and fund support for children in the form of supplies and clothing, among many other areas of urgent need.
Doing good + Delicious Treats = BIG LOVE!! Valentine's treats in the basket include hot cocoa bombs (three), Taza Love You More Chocolate Disks (five), Big Picture Farm Caramels, two Cape Whoopie Pies, and a Valentine's Day mug. Each gift basket will also include a postcard to explain how the funds raised will assist The One By One Project in supporting the local Greater Boston community. Gift baskets are $75 each and can be delivered by NECM (click here to check NECM's local delivery area) or can be pre-ordered and picked up at New England Country Mart's store-front at 811 Washington Street, Newton, MA.
